  • Lizzo shared multiple no-makeup Instagram videos while doing the Deborah Cox Challenge.

  • She followed those fun videos up with a serious video urging those watching to vote.

  • Lizzo told her fans, "This election is happening with or without you. Be present."

When Lizzo raps, people listen. Because, ya know, it's Lizzo. And, in a series of Instagram Stories, she adds new life to the Deborah Cox Challenge while wearing no makeup.

In the videos, the "Truth Hurts" singer adds her own lyrics in between lines of Deborah Cox’s '90s single, "Nobody’s Supposed to Be Here." And, of course, she throws in hilarious, Lizzo-esque lines like "B*tch I took the bus" and "I don’t give a f*ck."

It’s hard not to crack up while watching it but, at the same time, it’s also tough to miss the fact that Lizzo looks amazing with no makeup on (more on that in a sec).

She followed those Instagram Stories videos up with another important one. Hop on over to her "regular" Instagram, and Lizzo shared a five-minute video, urging her fans to vote after watching the presidential debate between President Donald Trump and Vice President Joe Biden. "It’s long. But i hope you listen," she wrote in the caption.

"Every time I speak, I never speak to a political party," Lizzo said in the video. "I’m speaking to human beings." Lizzo then urged people, particularly young people, to vote: "I have no insinuation of who you should vote for…I’m just talking to you. The newly turned 18-year-olds, the people who believe they don’t have power."

Lizzo also said that "to a degree, it feels f*cking powerless," but she still urged people to use what power they had by voting.

Lizzo ended on this note: "This election is happening with or without you. Be present."

While Lizzo flipped between hilarious and incredibly serious tones in her videos, her no-makeup, no-fuss look stayed the same throughout.

Lizzo shared her entire skincare routine with The New York Times last year, and said she pretty much only uses Sunday Riley products. (She also raved about Sunday Riley in an interview with The Cut.) She specifically cited the company’s C.E.O. Glow Oil and Ceramic Slip Cleanser as her favorites. "I love oils in general," Lizzo told The Times. "Black girls, we’re always using cocoa butter, coconut oil, and shea butter on our bodies. I’m an oily b*tch."

On the makeup front, Lizzo said she’s big on stuff with sunscreen. "I’ve been really adamant about having some kind of SPF in my tinted moisturizer," said Lizzo. "Right now, I use the Laura Mercier and the Nars ones. I do the tinted moisturizer, and then I do concealer—the Urban Decay Stay Naked."

Finally, she said she’s been more into no-makeup days lately. "I’m really into my skin looking naked," she said. "I’m trying to honor that my skin looks so good now and rock it."
