Lizzo Just Debuted a Dramatic New Hair Color
There’s a truth fast becoming universal: When Lizzo makes moves, the world pays attention. This is true of her standout performances, monologues on mental health, her body positivity, and her sparkly scrunchies alike. And now, the same can be said for her choices in high-impact hair color (and accompanying makeup palette). The “Truth Hurts” singer took to Instagram last night to share a trio of photos centering on purple waves that made the case for carry summer’s pops of color into fall.
Along with the soft curls—which hung well past her hips—Lizzo opted for a brow-reaching application of neon peach eye shadow, an edging of yellow at the inner corners making for a saturated moment reminiscent of a sunset. This isn’t Lizzo’s first brush with this colorway: a mid-September snap finds her showing off a darker iteration of the aubergine lean, this time accompanied by eyes adorned in pink, orange, chartreuse, and blue. Only time will tell if this dye job a trompe l'œil trick or a more permanent shift, but it’s clear that Lizzo’s world has no shortage of color.
