Lizzo's life story is coming to the small screen.

The superstar announced this week that an untitled documentary about her life and career will premiere on HBO Max this fall, in a presentation at the Warner Bros. Discovery upfront. The film will show the journey of her trailblazing career, touching on her humble beginnings and rise to international fame.

"Growing up I never dreamed I'd get to experience all of the things I've accomplished in my life, and I'm just getting started," the "About Damn Time" singer said in a statement. "I'm so excited I get to share and relive my journey with my fans and HBO Max."

"From 'Cuz I Love You' to my dramatic world tour, losing and gaining love, and creating my new album 'Special,' y'all get to see the amount of time, patience, blood, sweat and tears that went into this process. It takes ten years to become an 'overnight success,' and hopefully I can inspire other young creatives to keep going," she continued.

Sarah Aubrey, head of original content at HBO Max, added, "To get the chance to work with someone we have admired and adored for so long is a dream come true. Lizzo’s formidable talent has entertained and inspired millions, and we are ecstatic to help share her incredible journey."

The documentary is directed by Doug Pray, executive producer of HBO’s Dr. Dre/Jimmy Iovine docuseries The Defiant Ones. It will arrive soon after the release of Lizzo's upcoming studio album Special, and it's the star's second streaming release after her Amazon reality series Watch Out for the Big Grrrls.

The "Good as Hell" singer often opens up to her fans about her personal life and mental health. In a February Variety interview, she spoke on adjusting to fame and the loss of her former life, saying that she worked with her therapist on coming to terms with the huge life change.

"Fame happens to you, and it's more of an observation of you. People become famous, and it's like—my DNA didn't change. Nothing changed about me," she told the outlet. "My anxiety didn't go away. My depression didn't go away. The things that I love didn't go away. I'm still myself. But the way y'all look at me and perceive me has changed. It's a very weird, kind of formless thing."
