Lizzo Flaunts Trendy New Hairstyle Inspired by ‘Bring It On’ Movies

The singer perfectly pulled off the iconic hairstyle.
Lizzo is a frequent trendsetter, and she might've just started a new trend with a hairstyle inspired by the cult classic cheer movie Bring It On.
The Grammy winner shared a video showing off the look on Instagram, captioning it, "‘Bring it On’ hair all 2023🫡 @theshelbyswain." She tagged her hairstylist, Shelbeniece Swain.
In the video, Lizzo's hair gives off a "wet but dry" look, with one fan commenting, "Yea Cause how your hair wet and dry at the same time 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥."
The hairstyle looks very similar to Eliza Dushku's character Missy Pantone's hair in the memorable Bring It On audition scene when she shows off her gymnastic skills and nabs the open spot on the cheer squad. Missy gives off a grungy punk look, and her hair looks like it's styled in messy twists.

Lizzo, 34, and her hairstylist perfectly recreate the hairstyle, going for a look that's a little softer to match the singer's beautiful cream-colored outfit and light and glittery makeup.
One fan quoted the audition scene from Bring It On in the comments, writing, "I moved here from Los Angeles your school has no gymnastics team this is a last resort!!!!!!!"
People filled the comments with compliments for Lizzo, as one proclaimed, "The prettiest human with the biggest heart😍❤️."
"You look absolutely divine💅🏽😍," and "You are soo beautiful!❤️," were just a couple of other comments on the video.
A few also asked Lizzo how she did the hairstyle, hoping she'd provide enough instruction for them to successfully attempt it.
After performing two shows in London, England, at the O2 Arena on March 15 and 16, the star made a surprise appearance at the final concert for SZA's tour on March 23 in Inglewood, California.
Now, it looks like she's taking a short break, vacationing and relaxing before her tour starts back up in the U.S. at the end of April.
