“Lizzie McGuire” Star Clayton Snyder Got Engaged to Allegra Edwards
Clayton Snyder, a former star of Disney Channel's Lizzie McGuire has gotten engaged. The actor, who portrayed the role of Ethan Craft, announced the exciting news on Instagram.
The special moment went down on November 28, and the star shared a short video of him with new fiancé Allegra Edwards to announce the good news. "A few more moments," he wrote. "A moment shortly after the ask. A moment when she saw my parents were there too. A moment that evening. A moment the day after in Bodega Bay. A moment shortly after that."
An accompanying gallery has the pair posing for a number of photos. Along with a selfie that features the ring, the two shared a video of Allegra, and she flashes her new diamond to the camera. Clayton also shared a black and white photo of the two, writing, "Some things never change. Except, a lot changed, and then it got very similar, but very different, but better, and now, your finger’s a bit heavier. And not just because of all the pecan pie. What a Thanksgiving. I love your laugh. I love your heart. I love your family. I love you. Looking forward to wifing you." The post features one photo from when they presumably started dating in 2009 and another more recent photo from 2019.
News of his engagement follows another exciting bit of personal news for the star. Previously, Disney+ announced a Lizzie McGuire reboot, and while details on what to expect are still forthcoming, Hilary Duff did tease a possible return from Ethan, telling E! News, "I'm pretty sure there's going to be, there's going to be a thing." There's no confirmation on whether Clayton would reprise his role, but our fingers are officially crossed.
