If you were hoping to shop some Amazon Prime Day mattress deals today, then you may be a little disappointed, with none of the major mattress manufacturers so far offering any particularly jaw-dropping deals.
That doesn’t mean you can’t still score a bargain though, with both Simba and Emma offering some great discounts on their own sites. How to find a great Amazon deal
Trying to work out if you've actually scored a good deal on Prime Day can be tricky, however, there are a few tricks that we use to help us work out when something really is a bargain.
1. Ideally you should do a little prep work and keep an eye on the fluctuating Amazon prices over the month leading up. However, if you haven't a good way to check if Amazon has inflated the price, to drop it down again is to check around other retailers first.
2. You can set up alerts for upcoming deals you might be interested in by visiting the Prime Day page and selecting 'watch this deal.'
3. Don't just look at what Amazon's original RRP says, check sites such as Camel Camel Camel to see what the highest price it's been listed on Amazon has been.
