Little Women First Trailer Stars Emma Watson, Saoirse Ronan, Timothée Chalamet, and More

After a morning of memes and anxious waiting, the trailer for the upcoming Little Women film, starring Florence Pugh, Emma Watson, Timothée Chalamet, Saoirse Ronan, and more notable Hollywood names has finally arrived.

The film, based on the classic novel, doesn’t officially hit theaters until later this year — December 25, 2019 to be exact — but in this first glimpse, we’re given a peek at how director Greta Gerwig plans to interpret the Louisa May Alcott tale. In the clip, we’re introduced to each of the actors and their Little Women characters, and viewers watch as the glorious tale of growing up, romance, and sisterhood comes to life onscreen.

Much of the two and a half minute trailer is focused on Saoirse and her role as Jo March. From her aspirations of making it as a writer to a moment of romantic confessions shared with Timothée’s character, Theodore “Laurie” Laurence, the quick preview of the upcoming film is more than heart-stirring, and even includes a few laughs.

After the trailer officially hit the internet, fans on social media could hardly contain themselves, and many shared in the emotional trailer rollercoaster. “The little women trailer is ADORABLE i can’t wait for this movie,” one fan wrote. Another person couldn’t even come up with words, and simply used a video of someone crying to sum up their feels. And one person seemed to accurately describe all those who had viewed, writing, “No one talk to me, I’ve just seen the Little Women trailer and I’m fragile.”

We’re still a few months out from release, but if the trailer was this emotional, we have a feeling you may wanna pack a few tissues with your popcorn.
