'Little People, Big World' Fans Are Really "Sad" Over Jeremy Roloff’s Latest Instagram

From Woman's Day

Former Little People, Big World stars Jeremy and Audrey Roloff shared on Instagram recently that they hope to buy a farm one day. Little did they know, this revelation would make Roloff fans so upset.

As Jeremy penned in an Instagram post from Wednesday, the couple had a blast visiting Young Living Lavender Farm in Mona, Utah while spending the week at a convention. Jeremy explained that being on the "absolutely beautiful property" had his "brain firing on all cylinders with ideas and dreams for (hopefully) Roloff farms."

He continued: "Auj and I have been working very hard to be able to acquire one [a farm] someday and visiting the Mona farm was a big encouragement in our efforts."

The fact that Jeremy said he wanted to buy "a farm" one day, though, alarmed many of his followers, especially since Jeremy is the son of Matt and Amy Roloff, who previously co-owned Roloff Farms for 29 years (Amy recently accepted a buyout though, meaning Matt is now the sole owner of the property). In many LPBW fans' minds, Jeremy would inherit Roloff Farms, not buy a different one.

As if that wasn't upsetting enough, Jeremy's response when asked about why he couldn't just take over Roloff Farms got his followers especially riled up. To one fan, he replied that it "costs money to buy Roloff Farm[s]" while he pointed out in another comment that it would be "very expensive."

Stunned by his reply, one fan asked, "I thought your Dad wanted you or was hoping you take over so he can move in to other things? I know he said one the show if any of you would it would be you." A different fan said they were "sorry to hear" that it was out of Jeremy's price range. Yet another declared "How sad. The farm should always be in your family. Hard to believe your parents aren't making sure you all can raise your children there. Unreal."

Of course, it's important to point out that Jeremy never objected to one day owning Roloff Farms, so the possibility is still very much on the table. But even if it isn't Audrey and Jeremy's dream to take over Roloff Farms, that's totally okay, too. At the end of the day, we're sure Amy and Matt would rather have their son be happy, no matter what that means.
