Little Dog Returned to Florida Rescue All Because She Wanted to Sleep in Owners' Bed

All she wanted was some love and comfort.

It's difficult to see any dog returned to the shelter after an initial adoption, but the heartbreaking reason this sweet senior girl was surrendered is breaking our hearts. Twinkle came back to the @trueandfaithful rescue after spending only 4 months with her paw-rents, all because she wanted to sleep in their bed. And no, your eyes are not deceiving you.

This tiny old Chihuahua was surrendered simply because she wanted to share a bed, but her friends at the rescue are taking to TikTok to try and find her a true forever home. We have so much hope that someone will fall in love with her and offer to share their bed!

What a precious little girl! We can't believe her "family" didn't want her in their bed, especially considering that she's a senior rescue. So many people would adore snuggling with her at night!

"She’s a literal SENIOR. How would they not let her??!!" asked commenter @kkeeeara. We have no idea! The poor baby was just looking for some love and comfort from her new parents, and they just abandoned her. We can't imagine how she must be feeling after everything happened!

"Oh my god dogs are always allowed to sleep in beds," wrote @pickledoss. "Those people don’t deserve to have pets!!! I hope she gets the best home and softest bed." That's definitely the hope for Twinkle! We're sure this video will help the perfect owner find her sooner rather than later, but we'll feel so much better once we get the update we want to see.
