Little Debbie Red, White, and Blue Cakes Are the Most Patriotic Treats

Little Debbie won summer before it even kicked off when it dropped its Iced Orange Creme Cakes—which were basically like fancy creamsicles—earlier this year. As if that wasn't enough seasonal flavor for you, Mother's Day Cakes soon followed in fruity bursts of lemon and strawberry.

But the grand return of the brand's Red, White & Blue Cakes has us officially ready for summer before we salute our heroes on Memorial Day and celebrate our independence on the Fourth of July. Ladies and gentlemen, red, white, and blue season is finally upon us.

Each 13-0unce box contains 10 twin-wrapped snack cakes. Chocolate and vanilla fans alike will be satisfied, because Little Debbie sells boxes of both varieties. Instagrammer @snackstalker spotted them on store shelves at Safeway, where the boxes were stamped with a suggested retail price of $2.19.

Even if you can't make it to the beach anytime soon, you can still grab a Little Debbie to enjoy in the backyard or by your pool. The snack maker has posted a variety of ways you can level-up these patriotic treats on its website, including activities to turn them into cake pops, pinwheels, and even a no-bake layer cake.

Little Debbie is far from the only brand to sport a fan-favorite item with a festive twist.
