Little boy shocks TikTokers with his deep love of Chucky from ‘Child’s Play’
TikTokers can’t get over this 4-year-old’s affinity for the Child’s Play film franchise, starring the horror icon Chucky.
All kids develop an interest in something hilariously unorthodox at some point. TikToker and parent Laura Nguyen (@laurarnguyen) understands this all too well, as shown in a clip of her 4-year-old son enjoying his favorite movie, Child’s Play, featuring the famous red-haired killer doll known as Chucky. However, based on the comments, she’s not the only parent whose child is into horror films.
The clip opens with a shot of the little boy sitting in a small armchair, enjoying a plate of chicken nuggets and watching his “favorite” movie.
While it’s yet to be revealed which film has the child so captivated, it’s safe to assume from the large Chucky doll seated next to him along with their matching outfits that one of the many movies starring the evil doll is the answer.
As the little boy sits entranced by the on-screen action, the camera quickly pans to reveal a large TV showing Child’s Play, the film that introduced Chucky to the world.

The camera pans back to the little boy, who doesn’t seem the least bit perturbed by the creepy series of events unfolding in front of him.
“Is this your favorite movie?” Nguyen asks her son from behind the camera, to which he responds by nodding coyly before giving his Chucky doll a high five as the video comes to a close.
Nguyen’s amusing video had viewers in stitches, and many parents were relieved to discover that other children enjoy horror movies.
“Gen Alpha is something else,” one user joked.
“I’m glad I’m not the only parent whose children are into horror movies like this, lol,” mentioned one parent.
“Bro, I’m scared of that movie, and he’s watching it at 4 without a reaction,” one viewer commented in disbelief.
