Listen to King Charles's Official Coronation Playlist on Spotify

King Charles's coronation playlist is here. The Department for Culture, Media and Sport selected 27 songs on behalf of the monarch, and it is included on the official coronation website as "inspiration" for street parties and celebrations. The playlist starts with "Come Together" and ends with "King," two very choice songs to bookend the tunes.

Charles's coronation is set to take place on May 6, 2023 at Westminster Abbey in London. Few details have been released about the ceremony yet, including whether or not Charles's son Prince Harry and daughter-in-law Meghan Markle will be in attendance. Buckingham Palace did share that "The Coronation will reflect the monarch’s role today and look towards the future, while being rooted in longstanding traditions and pageantry."

Looking towards the future includes a Spotify playlist, we imagine. The music, a spokeswoman told the BBC, had been selected to "celebrate British and Commonwealth artists ahead of the upcoming Coronation."
