  • Lady Gaga is currently dating entrepreneur and investor Michael Polansky.

  • The singer and actress has broken off two engagements in the last few years and dated other men she's also worked with.

  • The A Star is Born actress has said her career success often coincides with the demise of her romantic relationships.

The love life of Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta (a.k.a. Lady Gaga) has always been in the spotlight. From breakups to makeups, her relationships are always making the news. Case in point: The pop star basically broke the internet when it was revealed that she was dating investor and entrepreneur Michael Polansky.

With her new album Chromatica dropping on May 29, he may have even inspired some of Gaga's songs like, say, "Stupid Love."

But before Polansky, the singer and actress has been linked with many leading men over the years, while some might be considered "Bad Romance," others were true love, at least at the time. Here's a look back at the men who've gone gaga for Gaga:

March 2020: Lady Gaga shares she's been in quarantine with boyfriend Michael Polansky.

Gaga shared a cute Instagram of the two cuddled up on "Day 6" of quarantine back in March.

"Day 6 of self-quarantining! Going strong, playing video games and cards, and taking care of ourselves. Important reminder: keep your mind as stress free as possible and your body moving. #selflove #selfcare #bekind try not to pass it in case you have it #corona it’s ok and so wonderful to stay home if you can! What a kind act for the world ❤️," she captioned her post.

Since then, she's shared another photo of them staying at home together, the latest before her One World fundraiser in April 2020.

"With some of my co-fundraisers @booconnor @michaelpolansky
#oneworld #togetherathome Miss you @wanaynay our other co-fundraiser and producer and missing our other co-fundraisers @who & @glblctzn," she captioned her post.

February 2020: Gaga goes Instagram official with Michael.

The "Stupid Love" singer made her newest relationship offish with a pic from the Super Bowl. Besides being an investor and entrepreneur, Michael is a Harvard graduate who runs the Institute for Cancer Immunotherapy, which was created by Facebook co-founder Sean Parker (a.k.a. the guy played by Justin Timberlake in The Social Network). He's also the CEO of the Parker Group, the umbrella organization for Parker’s charitable and business initiatives, which includes the cancer immunotherapy institute.

"We had so much fun in Miami. Love to all my little monsters and fans, you’re the best! ❤️" she captioned her post.

The couple also spent a low-key Valentine's Day together later that month.

"Happy Valentine’s Day!! 'Babe, do I have lipstick all-over me?' 😂#valentines ❤️💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💕🧚♀️happy v-day to all my monsters!!! I love you!!! ❤️😘🎈," Gaga captioned her post.

July 2019 to October 2019: Gaga dated audio engineer Daniel Horton.

The superstar was spotted locking lips with audio engineer Daniel Horton in L.A. back in July 2019, according to very unsubtle photos published by People. However, the pair broke up in October 2019, and it was rumored it was because he "was not mature enough for her," per Us Weekly.

On Jan. 28, 2017 the budding couple were spotted together, along with plenty of PDA, at a Kings of Leon concert. Gaga was also cuddling with the agent on the Super Bowl LI field. They dated for two years, and got engaged, before splitting in early 2019.

Just a few days before the Oscars, Lady Gaga and Christian split. Gaga won Golden Globe and Grammy awards, but left her engagement ring behind. “It just didn’t work out. Relationships sometimes end,” a source told People. “There’s no long dramatic story. It always seemed Christian was more into the relationship than Gaga was.”

Gaga and the Chicago Fire star were officially together for five years. They dated for four years before they got engaged. Taylor proposed on Valentine's Day with a heart-shaped ring, according to People. The couple called off their engagement in July 2016, per the publication. They split shortly after she got the role in A Star Is Born.

“Me and Taylor are fighting, so that sucks,” she shared in her documentary Gaga: Five Foot Two, per People. “My threshold for bulls— with men is just — I don’t have one anymore. In relationships, you have to move together.

2009 to 2010: Gaga met Matt 'Dada' Williams in a restaurant.

You'd think the pair's rhyming nicknames would signal lifelong love, but that wasn't their fate. Gaga dated the designer from 2009 to 2010. She described their split in the documentary, “I sold 10 million [records] and lost Matt.” She described them as "crazy lovers" in Lady Gaga: Looking For Fame: The Life of the Pop Princess. He also become the first creative director for Haus of Gaga, per Rolling Stone.

2006 to 2007: Gaga dated producer Rob Fusari, who discovered her.

Before she was Gaga, Stefanie met and dated the Grammy-winning record producer in 2006. Rob was co-executive producer and co-writer on multiple hits on her debut album The Fame, and he was also credited with creating her nickname. Their romance ended in 2007, and her ex called her a “woman scorned” in his lawsuit demanding a portion of merchandising and revenue, per Rolling Stone.

2005: Gaga and Lüc Carl started dating on and off.

Gaga dated Lüc, who worked as a bartender, in 2005 and reunited with him in 2010 People reported. Gaga said, their "relationship really shaped me" and he also reportedly inspired her song, “Yoü and I,” per Rolling Stone. But as she shared in Gaga: Five Foot Two, “I sold 30 million [albums] and lost Lüc.”
