List: Denver Library’s top 10 most borrowed books in 2023
DENVER (KDVR) — Last year, readers at the Denver Public Library picked up 10 trending books that range from fact to fiction, love to heartbreak and some that are just downright dark.

While some readers checked out twisted love books from Colleen Hoover, others dug their noses into tragic autobiographies.

Based on last year’s selection, Denver bookworms were on the edge of their seats with these top 10 books.
People checked out novels with massive plot twists at the end, like “Verity” and “The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo.” Meanwhile, others were diving into vastly different autobiographies.

One popular autobiography was by Prince Harry who told his heartbreaking story of laying his mother, Princess Diana, to rest. Meanwhile, another autobiography was from iCarly sitcom actress Jennette McCurdy, who explained why she’s happy that her mom is dead.
While these books were the most popular books in the Mile High City, they were also recognized around the country.
Last year, you might have seen some of these books on the New York Times Best Seller list, in airport convenience stores, at the front of Barnes and Noble and among the best-rated books on Goodreads.
