King Charles’s coronation went off pretty much without a hitch on Saturday, but apparently England’s new monarch was not thrilled about having to wait in his golden carriage before heading into Westminster Abbey.

King Charles arrived at the coronation about five minutes early, and according to a lip reader who did some ~investigating~ on behalf of Sky News, he was seen complaining to his wife Queen Camilla and said, “We can never be on time. Yes, I’m...this is a negative. There’s always something.”

The Daily Mail also spoke to lip reader Jacqui Press who said Charles was also complaining about time during the actual carriage ride to the Abbey, saying, “I’m worried about time, I mean it’s been longer this time and, well, erm, I mean look! I know.”

Unclear why the timing was ever so slightly messed up on King Charles and Queen Consort Camilla’s end, but apparently, Prince William and Kate Middleton also had some issues. The Daily Mail reports that they were actually late and ended up “having to join the King’s procession through the church because they were unable to overtake to get ahead of him.”

Apparently, a bishop later admitted that a few things didn’t go according to plan during the coronation, saying, “There were one or two things that didn’t go strictly to plan” but then noting, “I’m not going to embarrass anyone in particular.”

Gonna need that Bishop to spill.
