Lionsgate U.K. Posted a Rare Deleted Scene From 'The Hunger Games: Mockingjay — Part 1'

Hunger Games fans, this is not a drill! With The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes just a couple months away from hitting theaters, Lionsgate U.K. dropped a deleted scene from Mockingjay — Part 1, and the clip left fans a little emotional...and wondering why the heck they cut this scene from the final film!

In the clip, Katniss is getting her makeup done very messily by two Avoxes (the rebels who got their tongues cut off as punishment), but Effie stops them, saying, "This is the face of a revolution." She wipes the makeup off and says, "Don't worry, Katniss. We're going to make this work. For you, for me, and for Cinna."

Sorry, what was that? I'm busy trying not to cry. Still not over Cinna's death.

"Give us MOREEEEE," commented a fan. "I'll see what i can do," Lionsgate U.K. replied.

"ARE YOU KIDDING ME WHY DID YOU DELETE THIS WHAT," another user wrote, saying exactly what we're *all* thinking. "I'm kind of happy they didn't put this in the movie because the amount of tears i would've been crying😭," another fan said. And true, maybe it's for the best.

That's not the only deleted scene that Lionsgate U.K. has blessed fans with. Last month, they also dropped the unedited rooftop scene from Catching Fire, where Katniss and Peeta are standing on the roof together the evening before the game and Katniss says, "I'm not gonna be another piece in their games." That scene was in the book but didn't make the final cut for the movie.

"WE WERE DEPRIVED," a fan commented.

I think I can safely speak on behalf of the entire Hunger Games community when I say Lionsgate U.K., please give us any and all deleted scenes, thank you!
