You ever glimpse someone else wearing a piece of clothing and then do whatever it takes to immediately procure said item for yourself? Yes, I get that's how ~influencing~ works, but I never really acted on any impulse buys... until I saw Gigi Hadid sport checkered linen pajamas by Holiday the Label last summer. It took me all of 0.02 seconds after laying my eyeballs upon her set that I decided I needed it in my life as soon as humanly possible. I went on over to one of my fave sites, Lisa Says Gah!, and bought a different version (the check print was understandably sold out) featuring a green and white floral and smiley face design.

And, reader, I can tell you it has brought me nothing but joy since. Now that summer is rolling around once again, it is the first thing I've pulled out of my closet so I can wear that fancy-feeling linen set again and again. And there are still styles available on the site if you want to click that "add to cart" button before they sell out. Let me give you the deets!

Why the PJ's are so great:

The material will keep you cool in warmer temps, and it just makes me feel so inexplicably chic? You also buy it as a complete set and it comes in sizes that range from S-3XL. Though many sizes are sold out, Lisa Says Gah! often restocks if you keep an eye on the website or sign up for its alerts. Plus, they're not just for wearing to bed! In fact, I've only ever worn my set while out and about.

They also come in both short and long styles, so you can opt for pants instead if you want more coverage. The bottoms also have an elastic waistband with a tie a comfy high rise. There's also no shortage of prints and patterns if you shop directly through Holiday the Label's site and don't mind the international shipping as they come from Australia.

Some cons:

Yes it can be a bit pricey, but I was able to pay my set off in three installments of $58.80 though Affirm. (Not an #ad, just had a great experience using it personally, JSYK!) It is the kind of outfit that pays for itself because you can wear the set together or as separates, so you'll get tons of wear from it. Or if you don't want to justify your purchase, it's just dang cute and worth it, okay?!

The shorts can also wrinkle rather easily, but it's nothing a steamer or iron can't solve. And while the shirt has that oversized look you might think is boxy, I find that if you only fasten the top couple of buttons and leave the others open, it lets people know you do, in fact, have a waist.

The verdict:

I will prob buy another set ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.
