Even pros have first days! Former World Cup racer Lindsey Vonn is America's first ever women’s downhill Olympic champion, a skier with 82 World Cup victories, and a best-selling author.

Oh yeah, and she's the skier behind the naming of Lindsey's trail at Vail Resort in Colorado!

Rocking a matching white ski kit (so Vail) Lindsey announces that it's the start of her season and she kicked it off by skiing the trail in her name.

"First day on skis this season!!! Had to start it off right with a run on the top of Lindsey’s in Vail."

"Can’t wait to see everyone this afternoon at @gorsuch to showcase my new @headsportswear ski line and of course, say hi to all my local friends! (Dec 18 3-5pm)"

Apparently, Vonn did a book signing, much to the enjoyment of local skiers around the mountain.

Her most famous book, "RISE: My Story" is a memoir detailing her life, but of course focusing on her journey to ultimately achieve 82 World Cup wins, 20 World Cup titles, 3 Olympic medals, and 7 World Championship medals.

As a kid, Lindsey Vonn was one of my heros because of her ski racing. As an adult, I'm inspired by her moving and shaking in the world outside of skiing: acts such as founding the Lindsey Vonn Foundation, which provides scholarships to underserved women.

Now, we can all get a little more of Lindsey (no matter how many times her name comes up, it's never enough!)... on our own skis, at Vail!
