Earlier this month, on August 5th, legendary former Olympian and World Cup alpine racer Lindsey Vonn visited the Colorado Children's Hospital to chat with kiddos in treatment about skiing and her initiative, Strong Girls Camp.

Check out the photos from the visit below.

From the caption:

"Thank you to the incredible Lindsey Vonn for visiting our Ryan Seacrest Foundation Seacrest Studios and sharing your day with our kiddos! Not only was Lindsey able to help name a few stuffed animals and chat about skiing, but she also shared more about her #StrongGirl Camp that she created with her foundation (Lindsey Vonn Foundation) to empower young girls to build confidence and meet new friends. We appreciate you spending your time with us!"

Vonn, who's picked up countless pieces of ski racing hardware over the years, leads her own non-profit: the titular Lindsey Vonn Foundation.

The organization is dedicated to: "Empowering underserved girls through camps, scholarships, and life-changing experiences."

Strong Girls Camp, an offshoot of the Lindsey Vonn Foundation, are multi-day experiences for girls that encourage participants to "to step out of her comfort zone, meet new friends, and build confidence."

A previous event in California included activities like hiking or obstacle courses, partnering with an older female mentor, and meeting Lindsey Vonn.

In addition to running Strong Girls Camps, the Lindsey Vonn Foundation also provides sports and enrichment scholarships to girls. The foundation has issued over $1 million in scholarships since 2018.
