Lindsey Vonn Updates Fans Following Surgery

We reported earlier this week that legendary ski racer Lindsey Vonn was planning to undergo a surgery for an undisclosed reason.

Vonn took to new social media app Threads last night to inform her followers that the surgery went well. She confirmed this with a picture in a hospital gown featuring a couple of celebratory pizza boxes on her lap:

Caption: "Surgery went well yesterday. Don’t worry though, I got pizza after!"

Vonn revealed in the comments that she had the surgery at Vail Valley Surgery Center in Vail, Colorado. Vonn used to live in Vail for many years and had numerous surgeries with Vail Valley throughout her career.

She also noted that the pizzas are from Pazzo's Pizza, a long-time establishment located in the Vail Resort Village.

Vonn still hasn't said what the surgery was on or why she needed to have the operation now. Regardless, we're wishing her a speedy recovery!
