A skier and a snowboarder, uh... slide into a bar? Olympians Lindsey Vonn and Shaun White horsed around on the hill to create a game you will likely be seeing on a mountain near you (probably by teenagers, ski school kids waiting for lunch, and the freshly-switched-to-twin-tips park rats).

Vonn posted the goofy (pun intended, snowboarder joke!) to Instagram yesterday, writing, "When you finally get to ski/snowboard with Shaun White this is what happens… did we just create a new team sport?!"

The sport involves the snowboarder sliding through snow between the skier's legs on top of their skis (which is hard considering these are race skis, the skinniest type!) and then hopping on their own board to continue the momentum.

On the groomer here, it doesn't look too gnarly. But this could be a legitimate sport of hardcore-ness if it was a powder day and your face is moving down the snowfield.... did someone say face shots?

One commenter brought up the philosophical insight that perhaps this is a trend among top athletes, as a "couple weeks ago it was Lindsey and Ted Ligety horsing around! Must be a gold metal thing."

And we would be remiss to forget Lindsey Vonn and Ashley Graham horsing around recently on the hill, too.

It must be a Lindsey Vonn thing.

I guess the four-time Olympian and best-selling author got sick of appearing on magazine covers and being so dang good at everything involving skiing, so she had to make things a little bit harder on herself.

In the weirdest way possible!
