The A Year in Time event on Tuesday in New York honored the people on the publication’s prestigious Person of the Year list, which includes Taylor Swift and other fashionable stars.

Padma Lakshmi, Amanda Nguyen and Lindsey Vonn were in attendance, the latter of whom embraced minimalist glamour in a black Victoria Beckham gown. The former World Cup alpine ski racer’s long-sleeve frock featured a daring backless design, which she paired with striking red lipstick.

Padma Lakshmi shined in a silver sequin midi dress. The “Taste the Nation” host was awarded the Time 100 Impact honor for her advocacy for immigrants and others through food education and exploration.

Amanda Nguyen arrived wearing a white side-slit gown with a matching blazer. Nguyen, who is the founder of non-governmental civil rights organization Rise, accessorized her all-white outfit with a Mae Cassidy Nimmi velvet top-handle bag.

Arianna Huffington, the founder of HuffPost, donned a black Oscar de la Renta dress with a tulip guipure lace pattern, which Huffington paired with black lace-up boots.

Midge Purce wore a white gown with a gathered, twisted neckline and abdominal cutout, styled by Melanie Wainwright. The National Women’s Soccer League player’s boyfriend Chris Evans coordinated with her classic look in a sharp black suit.

Anu Duggal, founding partner of the Female Founders Fund, made a sheer statement in a Bibhu Mohapatra gown. From the brand’s spring 2018 ready-to-wear collection, Duggal’s gown included puff-sleeves and a sheer skirt.
