Lindsay Lohan's channeling her inner Brigitte Bardot with this iconic 60s hairstyle

When we think old Hollywood, we may immediately think bottle blonde, but when you revisit, redheads were ruling the screen. Rita Heyworth, Maureen O'Hara, Lucille Ball, plenty of Hollywood actresses were dying their hair red even if it wasn't natural. Maybe that's why it makes sooooo much sense to my eyeballs seeing Lindsay Lohan sporting a retro hairstyle inspired by ultimate icon Brigitte Bardot. She just slips straight into yesteryear with that auburn hair.

Worn to the Christian Siriano show at NYFW, hair stylist Danielle Priano made the inspo for the look clear, writing in the caption, "❤️Lindsay Lohan giving ✨ Brigitte Bardot". While of course Brigitte is an iconic blonde (more on that later), it's clear to see the references with the soft bouncy curl, face framing layers and the relaxed bouffant. Plus, we can't not give credit to that sultry energy delivered by Lilo – really channelling BB.

Makeup artist Kristofer Buckle continued the homage with a softer take on Brigitte's trademark dark liner, matched with a peachy lip and cheek that continued up to the eye in a lil monochromatic moment.

Just six days ago Lindsey posted another big bouncy retro look and now we're thinking...could she be entering her retro era? Please, please, please yes.

I'd say she was born in the wrong era, but the noughties without her is such a sad sad thought. So maybe let's hope for a star turn in a 40period movie?

And to circle back to my point that redheads lowkey ruled Hollywood back in the day?? Brigitte's natural hair colour 👀
