Lindsay Lohan is back in America—and in the spotlight!

The singer and actress was seen on a rare outing this week with her new husband, Bader Shammas, in New York City.

The two were all smiles while walking to a hotel in Manhattan—Lohan in an all-black ensemble and the financier in a preppy summer look.

The Freaky Friday star's outfit consisted of a spaghetti-strap top and matching miniskirt, which she paired with matching pointed-toe pumps with block heels and bows, as well as a cream handbag, dark sunglasses, a diamond necklace, and diamond hoop earrings. She left her fiery orange hair down in loose waves for the surprise appearance and wore a subtle red lip tint.

Shammas, meanwhile, opted for a navy polo with white and yellow stripes at the sleeves, light gray trousers, and white sneakers. He, too, accessorized with dark sunglasses, choosing a pair with reflective circle lenses.

Lohan and her husband's New York outing is unexpected, because the actress has been away from her home country for years, instead living between Europe and Dubai. During her years-long hiatus from Hollywood, she opened two beach clubs around Greece, started her own reality show (which lasted one season), and tied the knot with the love of her life.

Last month, the actress confirmed her marriage to Shammas via an Instagram post and shared dreamy photos from their honeymoon in Turkey. "🎂❤️🥰I am the luckiest woman in the world. You found me and knew that I wanted to find happiness and grace, all at the same time. I am stunned that you are my husband. My life and my everything. ❤️every woman should feel like this everyday 🙏💖," Lohan captioned the first post.

The star, known for cult classics including Mean Girls and The Parent Trap, also recently jumped back into the Hollywood scene. In April, she started a podcast, The Lohdown, and in June, she filmed a commercial as the spokesperson for Allbirds' new running shoe. Plus, Deadline reported that she signed a deal this March to star in two upcoming Netflix projects and a holiday movie, all set to be released later this year.
