The news comes nearly a year after the 'Mean Girls' star's marriage.
The actress made the big announcement on Instagram March 14, sharing a picture of a onesie with "coming soon…" written over it.
She expressed her joy at expecting her first baby in the caption, writing, "We are blessed and excited!"
Celebrities were quick to congratulate the Freaky Friday star on her exciting news.
"This is WONDERFUL NEWS!!," wrote Lohan's Mean Girls co-star Amanda Seyfried.
Queer Eye's Bobby Berk commented, "Awwww. Congrats you two!!!"
Paris Hilton's mom Kathy Hilton celebrated the big news, writing, "🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙏🏼❤️😍😍❤️❤️❤️ I am so happy for you."
"Omg congrats Lindsay!," quipped Abbott Elementary creator and star Quinta Brunson.

Lohan's brother Dakota noted in his comment that he'd now be an "uncle x2." Lohan's other brother Michael welcomed a daughter in June 2021.
The news of Lohan's pregnancy comes nearly a year after she revealed her marriage to financier Bader Shammas on Instagram.
"I am the luckiest woman in the world. Not because I need a man, but because he found me and knew that I wanted to find happiness and grace, all at the same time," she captioned in a now-deleted post. "I am stunned that this is my husband. My life and my everything. ❤️every woman should feel like this everyday 💖🙏."
