Amanda Seyfried, Lacey Chabert, and Lindsay Lohan in 'Mean Girls'

If you ever imagined what the characters from Mean Girls would be doing as adults, there's no need to wonder anymore, as Walmart brought that fantasy to life in a nostalgic and hilarious new commercial for Black Friday.

Lindsay Lohan, who played Cady Heron in the 2004 cult classic, stars in the new video with fellow cast members Lacey Chabert (Gretchen Wieners), Amanda Seyfried (Karen Smith), Daniel Franzese (Damian) and Rajiv Surendra (Kevin Gnapoor).

In the video, Lohan's character narrates the story while she works as a guidance counselor at the high school, beginning, "At North Shore, some things never change. On Wednesdays, we still wear pink." Chabert then shows up in a car, saying, "Get in sweetie, we're going deal shopping," before Lohan adds, "But now, we shop Walmart Black Friday deals."

The video continues with many spot-on references to the film, such as "grool" and "fetch," as various Walmart deals are showcased.

While Seyfried's Karen fulfills her dream of being a weatherwoman, Chabert is the ultimate "cool mom" while she shops for her teenage daughter and her friends. She even takes on the role of Amy Poehler's character for the Winter Talent Show to film her daughter's performance.

The entire video emulates the tone and other aspects of the popular film, and Missy Elliott makes a surprise cameo as the new gym teacher to talk about Walmart+. The commercial ends with the reveal that Walmart's Black Friday deals will start on Nov. 8 this year.

Despite the clip being a commercial, fans were amazed with the Mean Girls re-creation, with a comment reading, "Absolutely iconic! Whoever wrote this script deserves a raise 🎉." A few others said something similar in praise of the screenwriter.

"This is INCREDIBLE. It has the feel of the movie to it and nothing was butchered. Everything was so faithful," wrote another, as a third comment said, "This is so fetch! I watched this at least 5 times now. Also, missed opportunity to throw some toaster strudels into those grocery bags, but fantastic marketing."

The one thing that a lot of people noticed was the absence of Rachel McAdams as Regina George, as one person pitched, "This is incredible! The commercial’s screenwriter need to get paid big! I need this as a feature film and get Rachel McAdams back too!"

Fans seem quite satisfied with the special Walmart ad, but this will likely have even more people clamoring for an official Mean Girls sequel, although a movie adaptation of the Mean Girls musical is already on its way.
