In a statement to PEOPLE on Monday, a rep for Lindsay Lohan confirmed that the star officially joined the mama club after giving birth to her first child—a baby boy!

She and her husband, Bader Shammas, welcomed the arrival of baby Luai (“sheld or protector” in Arabic) in Dubai.

“Lindsay Lohan and her Financier husband, Bader Shammas, welcomed a beautiful, healthy son named Luai. The family is over the moon in love,” the rep tells PEOPLE.

Eearlier this spring, Lohan wrote “Coming Soon,” alongside a photo of a white onesie that reads “Coming Soon,” in her Instagram pregnancy announcement.

“We are blessed and excited

,” she captioned the photo, tagging her husband Bader Shammas in the post. Lohan married Shammas, a financier, in July 2022.

During a recent interview with Allure, the “Parent Trap” and “Mean Girls” actress opened up about becoming a mom, and what her life will be like from here on out.

“I can’t wait to see what the feeling is and what it’s like to just be a mom,” Lohan said. “Happy tears. That’s just who I am. Though now, it’s probably baby emotion. It’s overwhelming in a good way.”

And yes, she’s spoken with her “Freaky Friday” mom Jamie Lee Curtis (and soon-to-be once again co-star in the sequel) about the most important role of all.

“I spoke to Jamie Lee Curtis recently, and she was like, ‘You just bring the baby with you and everything will be fine.'”

She’s not wrong! Congratulations to the new mama. We can’t wait to see and hear more about baby Luai.
