Lindsay Lohan’s "Falling for Christmas" Was Filmed at This Resort in Utah

Lindsay Lohan has officially returned to the big screen with Falling for Christmas, a Hallmark-style holiday rom-com that’s out now on Netflix. While the film has the small-town feel of other cheesy holiday movies, it's set in a ski resort that makes it feel a little more luxe than campy. The dreamy property actually exists in Park City, Utah, so you can visit for your very own mountainside getaway.

At the heart of the movie is the North Star Lodge, where a spoiled hotel heiress (Lohan) finds herself staying—thanks to the owner, Chord Overstreet’s character—after suffering from amnesia following a ski accident. The other main location in the film is a property within the fictional Belmont hotel empire. That resort is played by Goldener Hirsch. Part of the Auberge Resorts Collection, it features a blend of Bavarian-inspired inns and sleek modern structures. The family-owned property is nestled in Deer Valley’s Silver Lake Village, and its newer residences were designed by a team that includes architect Tom Kundig.
