Lin-Manuel Miranda is raising tons of money for Planned Parenthood
This year was an incredible one for Lin-Manuel Miranda. He officially left his star-making musical Hamilton in July. And basically everything he’s touched since then has become gold. So it’s wonderful to see the superstar taking some time to give back to a cause he believes in.
That’s why we love seeing Lin-Manuel Miranda supporting Planned Parenthood with an awesome fundraiser.
Even though he’s no longer in the show, he’s still heavily involved in all things Hamilton. So he took to Prizeo to offer some awesome gifts in exchange for generous donations during the holiday season.
Like all things Miranda does, this video is musical, playful, and all-around delightful.
Miranda has made it clear the donations will go straight to Planned Parenthood. And he has some pretty awesome personal reasons for showing such support.
He said, “Personal note, my mom is on the board of the Planned Parenthood Action Fund. You are making her look like the coolest board member ever. So thank you so much.”
