This limited-time Culver's burger is returning to the menu after eight years

Editors note: The Pepper Grinder Pub Burger does not come with pickles like the article previously mentioned.

For the first time in eight years, Culver's is bringing back its signature Pepper Grinder Pub Burger, described as the perfect balance of flavors and textures.

Starting Monday, customers at any of the more than 900 Culver's locations across the U.S. will be able to order the limited-time menu item, according to a news release from the company.

The Pepper Grinder Pub Burger gets its name from a peppercorn mayo blend, which is spread across a savory everything bun, the news release said.

The burger is topped with two slices of crispy, smoked bacon, which contrasts well with the Swiss and cheddar cheese slices.

Quinn Adkins, Culver's director of menu development, said in the news release that he believes the best pairing with the burger is a cold Dr Pepper.

To test this theory, Adkins brought together Green Bay Packers running back, AJ Dillon, James Beard award-winning chef Tory Miller and Wisconsin cheese expert Shannon Berry to share their thoughts on the pairing.

The participants enthused about the combination in the video, which can be found above and on Culver's official YouTube channel.

Miller in the video described the burger as "hot fire."

"It's on the money," Miller said. "So delicious."

Berry said the cold Dr Pepper perfectly balanced out the flavor of her burger.

The signature burger will be available until Oct. 1.
