The Limited-Edition TJ’s Product That Will Instantly Level Up Your Cooking

Trader Joe's is a pickle paradise come summer and pumpkin palooza in the fall. However, don't overlook the chain's penchant for churning out lip-smacking truffle products. There's the much-loved Truffle Oil Duo, which comes with a pair of olive oil bottles, one with black truffle and the other with white, and the Truffle Cream Gnocchi that fans desperately want to come back.

And it's time to add another truffle-infused gem to your shopping list, Trader Joe's Truffle Ranch Dressing. Natasha Fischer of @traderjoeslist sent Instagram into a tizzy when she sounded the alarm about the new product, which despite its $6.99 price tag is flying off of shelves.

"Is my love of Ranch greater than my love of truffle or vice versa?" Fischer posited.

It doesn't really matter. The Trader Joe's Truffle Ranch Dressing combines the best of both worlds — the bold earthiness of truffle with the creaminess of ranch.

"I am so excited to try this," Fischer said.

Let's be honest: Truffles and ranch are delectable separately so how exactly does one enjoy a combination of the two? Fischer has some thoughts.

"I really, really think this will be the best on a pizza, but I’m open to your ranchy suggestions on where to use this," she wrote.

Fans had a ton of takes, from early adapters' sharing reviews to others dishing on ways to enjoy the new Trader Joe's Truffle Ranch Dressing.

What Does Trader Joe's Truffle Ranch Dressing Taste Like?

Trader Joe's fans are already dishing on the taste of the Trader Joe's Truffle Ranch Dressing. Reviews are a bit mixed, especially for ranch dressing fans.

"In my opinion, this doesn't taste like ranch to me at all," wrote one. "It tastes like creamy pepper parmesan dressing, but swap the black pepper with truffle. It doesn't taste bad, but it's not what I hoped it would be."

Another fan thought it was perfect, though, even with the ranch being on the mild side.

"Here’s my take. It’s a mild ranch with a nice truffle umami taste without being overpowering," said another. "I killed my first bottle already and will be buying more."

Another boldly declared the Trader Joe's Truffle Ranch Dressing an instant classic.

"THIS IS INCREDIBLE — one of the best Trader Joe’s products yet," the excited fan proclaimed.

How to Use the Trader Joe's Truffle Ranch Dressing

Let's return to Fischer's original question: How should you use it if you buy it? Fischer loved the idea of putting it on pizza. Instagrammers offered other, fresh suggestions.

"I bet it would be excellent on French fries, or if we’re going to really indulge ourselves, tater tots with cheese broiled on top, add crumbled bacon and this truffle Ranch dressing," one person said.

If your jaw is on the floor, you are not alone here.

Gameday/comfort-food fare was a popular choice for indulging in Trader Joe's newest truffle offering.

"Oooo, this with buffalo wings," suggested another.

Others loved it as it was designed: As a salad dressing.

"I did use this in a salad," said a shopper. "I added chicken, which I think helped to make it not too rich. I’m talking basic salad: butter lettuce, cherry tomatoes, croutons, grilled chicken."

Meanwhile, some fans are literally going all in.

"It’s so good — [I] will be putting this on everything," one fan wrote. "I’ve never had a better shelf-stable Ranch."

And others won't be putting the Trader Joe's Truffle Ranch Dressing on anything.

"I’m going to drink this," said another.
