The Limited-Edition Frozen Find Aldi Fans Look Forward to All Year

Aldi fans are truly a resourceful bunch. The German-owned grocery chain has garnered itself some pretty dedicated shoppers over the years, so much so that newcomers to the Aldi universe have a trusted source of information to turn to regarding the products they love. Between the monthly list of Aldi Finds and the always active, fan-created Aldi subreddit, acquiring the best products from Aldi is seriously easier than ever before.

Deutsche Kuche Bavarian Soft Pretzels, a fan favorite item during the store's twice-annual German week, are the most recent Aldi find to hit the grocery chain's information superhighway and are available in two forms: Soft Pretzels and Soft Pretzel Sticks. The fan-favorite German snack is an Oktoberfest staple that can be found in the freezer section of your local Aldi. Each box, which retails for $4.49, features six large soft-baked Bavarian pretzels and a salt packet.

“They are the BEST,” exclaimed the original Aldi fan who first noticed the hot find. “I’ve been waiting in anticipation all year for the Oktoberfest restock.” Another intrigued customer responded, “$5 for 6 pretzels threw me off so I didn't buy, might need an OK boomer to set me straight!”

“They're huge,” responded another experienced Aldi shopper, who went on to note that they are “much larger than the typical frozen pretzel; and they are much better tasting as well.” And as if any more convincing was really needed, a third fan chimed in to set the record straight, “Go and buy now!”

Keep in mind that being classified as an Aldi Find means that these tasty pretzels will only be in stores for a limited amount of time. Each store receives one shipment, and once that sells out, these pretzels will be gone for good until the next German Week at Aldi.

For context, Aldi's German Week happens twice a year—once in the spring and another time in the fall—so you’ll want to play your cards right if you intend on getting your fingers on this popular German snack before it sells out. And if you are in need of a good condiment to go with these popular pretzels, one customer claims that Aldi has the best Dijon mustard around, urging shoppers, “don’t sleep on Aldi condiments, people!"
