Limited Edition Air Jordans Pay Homage to Everyone's Favorite 'Family Guy' Character

The cross-section of diehard Family Guy fans and sneaker enthusiasts need look no further for the ultimate piece of memorabilia inspired by the long-running animated Fox sitcom. Custom sneaker purveyor Johnnyskicks is offering up Stewie Griffin inspired Air Jordans, but they are only available in an extremely limited run.

The sneakers, which are a collaboration with Tragik1993, are "meticulously hand painted" to feature the bright colors and details of Stewie's signature outfit. The colorway is predominately white-grey neutral, with red and yellow patches and a bright yellow button to reference the character's ubiquitous sweater and overalls. Likewise, blue accents along the toes serve as a subtle nod to Stewie shoes.

Johnnyskicks, which is run by sneaker designer John Trottier, first debuted a version of the Stewie-themed sneakers on Instagram earlier this month. He subsequently listed them for sale on the website after the post went viral, gaining over 48,000 likes.

Only 20 total pairs will be made, with 10 high-tops using Air Jordan 1 High Neutral Grey 85s as a base and 10 low-tops created from Air Jordan 1 Low Triple White. And there's good reason for that, as the sneakers, which will all be hand made to order, come with a hefty price tag of $2,500 for the high-tops and $2,000 for the low-tops.

At the time of this writing, neither variety of the Stewie Griffin kicks are sold out, and require three to five months of lead time for delivery. In other words, they will be due to arrive just in time for Christmas, for anyone who is up for the splurge.
