To celebrate the ultimate cross over – aka, Lily-Rose Depp x Troye Sivan in their new and upcoming TV series, The Idol, – the pair have taken social media by storm with a makeover like no other.

Arriving on our Instagram feeds for Vogue Australia's recent cover shoot, the two actor's stun with cosmic makeup and oil-slick hair. In particular, Lily is rocking a silver rhinestoned winged eyeliner look with naked (read: bleached) eyebrows while Troye is sporting a half rhinestone 'brow and dewy complextion. Talk about coordination!

And to no surprise, the genius behind such looks was none other than otherworldly makeup artist, Isamaya Ffrench.

To complete the futuristic, editorial transformations, hairstylist Sophie Roberts was the artist behind Troye's locks while Sam McKnight worked up Lily's oil slick 'do.

It's giving fresh-out-the-shower realness but in an extra preened 'this took over three hours to create' way. *Chef's Kiss*.

Despite the pictures doing all the talking (I mean, we could stare at these all day?!), Lily and Troye spilled all the beans on fame, friendship and finding yourself. Speaking on how isolating being in the public eye can be, Lily shared: "Fame has never been something that I have been interested in and I can’t really understand people who are interested in that, you know?

"I feel like the luckiest person in the world because I get to do for a living the thing I love the most, the thing that makes me feel the most fulfilled and the most inspired and I get to put all of my emotions into something beautiful, into something creative, something purposeful. I feel really lucky to get to do that, whatever comes from that, even if it’s negative sometimes, to me is a small price to pay to get to do what I do ..."

And not only that but Troye also spoke about the show's sex scenes; "I show my bum in the show!" he said.

Intrigued? Me too...

The Idol is now available to stream on Sky Atlantic and NOW.
