This year, Lily-Rose Depp has adopted a stripped-back approach to her wardrobe—not only in terms of showing skin, but also in where she shops. The actor-slash-model has traded plenty of her designer pieces in favor of more contemporary ones, save for the occasional Chanel accessory.
While enjoying a date night with girlfriend 070 Shake on Friday, Depp stepped out in a white button-up top from one of her new favorite brands, Spanish label Gimaguas. A spin on the closet classic, the cotton shirt was slightly cropped and featured ruching throughout. The star contrasted its voluminous look with a slicked-back bun and itty-bitty denim shorts, which featured Y2K-esque contrast stitching and pockets longer than its hems.
To further showcase her toned legs, Depp styled her look with vintage white Chanel pumps that raised her height by a few inches. The archival footwear boasted the label’s signature black patent leather toe, heel, and bow detail. A loyal Chanel girl, the model also accessorized with a quilted brown bag from the French fashion house, taking care to spotlight the brand’s white double “C” logo.
Depp, who has become a familiar face in Chanel’s front row (and occasionally, runway), consistently combines her own laidback style with the well-known prep of the label. She recently attended the brand’s resort show in Marseille, daring to wear a black cropped sweater that bared her enviable abs. She paired the top with a tweed-style skirt, which featured pink, black, and white knit flowers, and a simple pair of black slingback heels. If anyone knows how to make Chanel look casual, it’s Depp.
