It’s official: You can now see what all the hype (both good and bad) around Euphoria creator Sam Levinson’s newest HBO project The Idol is all about. The first episode of the show, “Pop Tarts & Rat Tales,” is now on Max. Both The Weeknd and Lily-Rose Depp have shared statements of gratitude about the journey of creating the show as well as expressing their excitement about fans finally seeing the project. Plus, from what we’ve seen of the first few episodes, the fashion and aesthetic of The Idol are *chef’s kiss*.

If you choose to stream the TV series on Max, keep in mind that the show contains explicit content and addresses mature topics like consent, assault, and cults.

Lily-Rose posted a compilation of photos from the set of The Idol to celebrate the release of the show, writing on Instagram, “I can’t put into words how I’m feeling right now! This show and the people I was lucky enough to make it with mean everything to me.”

The actor was in full pop star mode as she pouted for a photo in a massive empty arena with a microphone in hand. Lily-Rose wore a sleeveless white naked dress made of sheer, shiny fabric that had a “wet” look to it, gathering in a mock-neck style at the top. The long dress featured ruching down the front that created pretty draping throughout the skirt.

She wore her blonde hair in an updo, with curled pieces framing both sides of her face. Her metallic silver eyeshadow and thick winged eyeliner complemented the shimmer of her sheer dress.

“Shooting [this show] was the most special experience I’ve ever had, and I thank my lucky stars every day for the most beautiful little family we all built together. My idol fam you know who you are—I love you guys so much,” Lily-Rose continued in the caption. “Sam and Abel, thank you for letting me be your Jocelyn. I’m still pinching myself that you picked me. Thank you for making my dreams come true, I love you both forever.”

Another picture in the carousel shows Lily-Rose and Troye Sivan, who plays Xander, holding hands and smiling at each other. Lily-Rose is wearing a sheer illusion bodysuit with hot-pink embroidery running up and down the corset bodice, with graphic winged eyeliner and her blonde hair in messy beach waves streaked with hot pink.
