Lily James Has Reportedly Broken Up With Boyfriend Michael Shuman

Actress Lily James has reportedly broken up with her boyfriend, Queens Of The Stone Age's bass player Michael Shuman. The news was shared by The Sun, who stated the former couple had been growing apart.

“Lily and Michael have grown apart in recent months and have now decided to end their relationship,” a source told the publication. “They just couldn't make it work as a couple, but they both wish each other the best for the future.

James and Shuman were first romantically connected in February of 2021. James was filming her movie What's Love Got To Do With It? in Suffolk, and the pair were seen kissing at a hotel in the area. A source told the Daily Mail at the time, “Lily's driver turned up just after 9am, then she and Michael emerged from the hotel together a few minutes later. They were laughing and joking and looked very happy together.”

About a year later, they walked the red carpet for the 2022 Academy Awards.

It was rumored that they were engaged in the summer of 2022 when she was seen on Melrose Avenue in California wearing a ring on her engagement finger. A representative at the time refuted the rumor, stating, “This is 100% not true.”

James rarely shared pictures of Shuman on social media, but last year she did post about new music being released by her ex-boyfriend, who also goes by the stage name Mikey Shoes.

And she shared a black-and-white image of the two of them together in April of 2022 in a look by Chanel. There are actually far more photos of her with co-star Sebastian Stan taken while the two were promoting their drama series Pam & Tommy, in which she played Pamela Anderson to his Tommy Lee.
