Lily James is fast becoming one of top celeb style icons. She’s not only a brilliant actress but one seriously snappy dresser - as her latest red carpet look proves.

The “War and Peace” star stayed true to her roots and donned a glorious designer frock by British label Alexander McQueen for the “Pride And Prejudice And Zombies” LA premiere.

Semi-sheer and embellished with floral appliqué detailing, the show-stopping number is easily one of the top red carpet ensembles we’ve clapped eyes on recently - and it’s definitely getting us in the mood for spring.

The actress teamed her winning look with bright red lippy and kept her hair loose, in loose curls.

Mixing a semi risque fabric with a smattering of wild flowers and butterflies, the dress managed to make James look sexy, sleek and stylish. A winning combination, we think you’ll agree. [Photo: Rex]

This is by no means the first look that James has slayed lately. The English rose has worn an array of designer numbers from the likes of Marchesa (which she wore to the Golden Globes) and Burberry.

But it’s her McQueen looks that have been our favourite. Her stylist, Rebecca Corbin-Murray, picked out another number from the leading British brand for the actress to wear to the “War and Peace” photo call in December.

The high-necked maxi dress featured an embellished bodice and a dark grey column dress, which elongated the star’s slim frame. She swept her hair into a chic updo and her make-up natural.
