Lily Collins Channels Audrey Hepburn in a Black Cocktail Dress and Fishnet Veil

Lily Collins's latest look pays homage to a style icon of Old Hollywood.

Before appearing on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert last night, the Emily in Paris star stepped out in New York City wearing a glamorous all-black outfit that looked like it could have been pulled straight from Audrey Hepburn's wardrobe.

Collins wore an inky black strapless midi dress with a transparent black lace overlay, which was cinched at the waist by a thin leather belt. She stayed warm by layering up in a breezy duster coat. She finished off the sophisticated ensemble with black opaque tights, patent leather Christian Louboutin pumps, a black Cartier handbag, a beaded diamond Cartier necklace, and a short fishnet veil.

The actress's hair even emulated Hepburn, with her bangs delicately swept to one side of her forehead. As for makeup, Collins opted for fuschia eyeshadow and a matching lip tint.

Lately, Collins has been busy promoting the third season of her hit Netflix show, Emily in Paris. During the world premiere in Paris, the actress wore a tawny brown dress with triangular abdominal cutouts and ruching details from Saint Laurent.

Collins previously spoke to BAZAAR.com about the series becoming a viral phenomenon.

"When I first read the script, I was willing to fight to even just get in a room [to audition]. I read the pilot, which was the first two episodes combined, and everything from the fact that it was a Darren Star show, to the fact that it was based fully in Paris and would be the first American show to shoot completely in Paris, and the fact that I've wanted to do a romantic comedy role for a long time," she said. "I do tend toward slightly darker, more emotional, harder-to-speak-about topics in terms of my roles. I was craving some sort of lightness, some sort of romantic comedy of sorts."
