Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's daughter, Lilibet Diana Mountbatten-Windsor, celebrated her first birthday at Frogmore Cottage in Windsor last weekend during the celebration of Queen Elizabeth's Platinum Jubilee.

A spokesperson for the Sussexes shared with Town & Country that close friends and family marked the special occasion with at a casual backyard picnic. Photographer Misan Harriman was in attendance with his family, and snapped an adorable photo of the birthday girl:

Notably, Lilibet's picnic birthday included a cake from baker Claire Ptak, who made Harry and Meghan's wedding cake in 2018. Today, Ptak took to her Instagram, @violetcakeslondon, to share more details about the royal birthday cake.

"It was an absolute pleasure to make this special cake last week for Lilibet’s birthday. Wishing her a very happy year ahead!" Ptak wrote.

The baker also shared that the inside of the cake was the Amalfi lemon and elderflower cake she created for Meghan and Harry's 2018 wedding. But instead of using plain buttercream, Ptak went for a strawberry buttercream to make it special for Lili. You can see the cake on her Instagram:

The cake was decorated with flowers and a special orange banner that read "Lilibet."

For comparison, here's Meghan and Harry's wedding cake:

A lemon elderflower cake was a surprising choice for Meghan and Harry's Windsor Castle reception, because most royal wedding cakes are traditionally fruit cake. Yet Ptak was the perfect baker to craft the royal wedding cake. Like Meghan, she was raised in California and moved to London. Meghan had read Ptak's cookbook, The Violet Bakery Cookbook, and interviewed her for her website, the Tig.

"Kinda excited to announce this one!!" Ptak wrote after the announcement of the royal wedding cake came out. "Violet has been chosen to make the wedding cake for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. They both share so many of the same values regarding food provenance, sustainability, seasonality and of course, flavour! Xxx"

So it only makes sense that the Sussexes went back to Ptak for their daughter's birthday cake.
