Lili Reinhart Shared a Poem for Cole Sprouse's Birthday

A few days after publicly clapping back at breakup rumors, Lili Reinhart and Cole Sprouse are leaving no room for doubt about their love.

In honor of Cole’s 27th birthday on Sunday, August 4, Lili posted a photo of her Riverdale costar on Instagram, along with a “sappy nighttime” poem. The verse reads:

I tried to find a poem / that I could send to you. / Because my words were failing me. / But I searched and found nothing that did you justice. / All of these love poems can’t get it right. / No one else’s words could ever fit. / They haven’t known the fortune it is to love you.

And that wasn’t the only way Lili commemorated Cole’s birthday; she posted a picture of Cole’s twin brother, Dylan, to her Insta Story, writing: “Happy birthday baby.” A+ level trolling that we can only imagine would impress the likes of Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds.

Fans were quick to flock to the comments of Lili’s bday poem, where they expressed excitement over what feels like proof that the two are very much still together. “Living for this,” one fan wrote, while another Instagram user commented: “This is so adorable!”

Rumors surrounding an alleged breakup first hit in late July, with sources telling Us Weekly that Lili and Cole were "rarely seen together” while attending a Comic-Con party that month.

It wasn't long before Cole and Lili spoke out to address the gossip, each posting a set of sarcastic comments on social media. “Don’t believe everything you read on the internet, kids,” Lili said in a tweet on July 25. “And news sources should try a little harder to be less vile. ‘Reliable sources’ can kiss my ass.”

If there’s a lesson to be learned from all of this, it’s that “sources” aren’t always to be trusted. As always, it’s a good idea to take information about celeb romance from the people who know best: the celebrities themselves. End of story.
