Lili Reinhart Appeared to Address Those Cole Sprouse Cheating Rumors After Twitter Canceled Him

Word to the wise: Don't mess with Spousehart.

On Friday, Lili Reinhart seemingly responded to rumors that her long-time boyfriend, Cole Sprouse, cheated on her with supermodel Kaia Gerber. Without mentioning the drama specifically, Lili addressed the "vile" internet trolls — who tried to cancel the actor with the hashtag #ColeSprouseIsOverParty — in a string of scathing tweets that have since been deleted from her account.

"Twitter is such a vile place. It’s so easy to say s—t behind your f—ing phone, isn’t it?” she began. “This is why people choose to keep their relationships private… this is why people don’t have social media… because of this bullying.”

The 23-year-old said she's fine with fans bullying her, but "attacking someone for literally no reason, just for the sake of a f—ing Twitter trend" is not going to fly under her watch.

"Please… reassess yourself and your ego before you send another tweet into the abyss," she continued, adding: “It’s easy to criticize someone and spew hate because it makes you feel like you have some sort of power over them. Truth is...you don’t. Saying you hate someone or don’t like them gives you absolutely no power over them."

She concluded her message, writing: "I refuse to keep my mouth shut about things like this. You have no idea how destructive this can be to someone. To anyone. It’s abusive. There is no excuse for this. You need god in your life or some form of help if you participate in cancel culture.”

Last month, Cole had some choice words of his own for the online haters. In an Instagram Story rant, the actor called the naysayers clowns and told each and every one to "please eat my delectable plump ass."

Despite all the drama, Sprouse and Reinhart are still very much "together," according to a source at E! News. "Lili and Cole are still together. They haven't been [in quarantine] together but haven't split," the insider revealed. "Their relationship is always up and down but they do talk every day and care very much about one another. Lili and Cole have been trying to be more low-key."

As for the Kaia cheating rumors? The same source confirmed, "Cole and Kaia are just friends and have never been romantic." Case closed.
