On Wednesday night, the Riverdale star took to Instagram Stories to reveal her favorite hot tool, Drybar's Tiny Tress Press Detailing Iron. "This thing is honestly magic," she wrote alongside a boomerang of the tiny yellow iron, which is small enough to fit in the palm of your hand.
These mini irons, which you can also find from brands like Jose Eber, Amika, and Babyliss Pro, are small but mighty. Not only are they game changers for short hair, which can be difficult to navigate with a clunky full-sized iron, but you can also throw them in your bag for touch-ups on the go.
“Mini flatirons are perfect for when you're going away for long weekends or just need a quick touchup," says Bumble and bumble hairstylist Erickson Arrunategui, adding that they're a game-changer for styling baby hairs or quickly smoothing frizz. "They're small enough that you can get into hard-to-reach areas without burning yourself." According to hairstylist Woodward Bartlett, the miniature hot tool is also great for creating face-framing pieces `à la Meghan Markle with ease.
