  • Lil Xan reportedly got into a verbal altercation with a man last night and took out a gun at some point during the argument.

  • The LAPD is investigating the incident.

Lil Xan, also known as the rapper who was once hospitalized for eating too many Flamin' Hot Cheetos and who had an incredibly messy breakup with Noah Cyrus, is now finding himself at the center of more drama, but this time it involves the LAPD rather than bags and bags of deliciously spicy snacks.

For context, last year Lil Xan called rep legend Tupac Shakur's music "boring," and at the time he received some major backlash for the comment. TMZ is now reporting that Lil Xan had a confrontation with a man in a 7/11 parking lot in downtown Los Angeles last night, and it allegedly started when the unnamed man asked Xan why he "talked sh*t" about Tupac and called Xan a bitch.

Apparently, Lil Xan then started yelling and cursing at the man (and I won't write what he said here, cause this article already has enough expletives), and "started flashing what looks like a semi-automatic handgun." After that, Lil Xan began walking back to his car with his girlfriend Annie Smith, who allegedly also yelled and cursed at the man.

Once Lil Xan got into his car, "he brandished the weapon one more time," which is pretty clearly seen in a video over at TMZ. While no shots were fired and it seems like no one was hurt, the man did file a report with LAPD, who are reportedly now investigating.

For his part, Lil Xan wrote a long Insta story about the incident, saying, "the media is gonna try and twist what just happened at a gas station, I was about to be attacked and resorted to having to use self defense, f*ck all you old head ass bitches still talking about that 2pac sh*t live your own life And stop picking on a kid."

While I have *many* thoughts about Xan's little diatribe, what I will say is that the LAPD-not Lil Xan's Instagram followers-will likely be the ones deciding whether or not this was self-defense. And also, if Lil Xan, 22, wants to be thought of as a kid/thinks of himself as a kid, maybe he shouldn't have a gun? Just a thought!
