Lil Nas X Shuts Down Backlash Over His Pregnancy-Themed Album Photo Shoot

Lil Nas X is blessing the world with his new album Montero in just a few weeks, and he released a casual pregnancy-themed shoot to announce its arrival.

“SURPRISE!” he captioned the pics. “I can’t believe I’m finally announcing this. My little bundle of joy ‘MONTERO’ is due September 17, 2021.”

And because the internet literally can’t be chill about an-y-thing, there’s been some backlash to the photos. Which, 🙄.

Lil Nas X hopped online and shut down some of the ridiculous criticism on Twitter, responding to one person’s since-deleted tweet with, “If I take a shit on myself, am I gonna have ur kids wanting to shit their pants?” and telling another person, “One day y’all will learn I am not a representation of anyone but Lil Nas X.” He also responded to a person who called him “ugly” (wtf, so rude) with, “You really on here calling a young mother-to-be ugly?”

The Grammy winner then added, “Let me get offline, all of this negative energy is not good for the baby.”

In conclusion, Lil Nas X is amazing, Montero drops September 17, and everyone should probably pre-save it immediately on Apple Music and Spotify right this way.
