Lil Nas X Made a "Chowder"-Themed Music Video for the "Panini" Remix Featuring DaBaby

Lil Nas X has gifted the world with another music video for his latest single, "Panini", and it's a masterpiece. The first "Panini" music video went very futuristic, with Lil Nas X in a spacesuit flying around and singing to Skai Jackson. For his second video, the rapper must have been in a very nostalgic mood because he centered the entire music video, a "Panini" remix featuring rapper DaBaby, around the 2007 animated series Chowder.

The "Panini" x Chowder video is all kinds of fun, casting Lil Nas X as the show's titular lead, Chowder, and DaBaby as Schnitzel. The video takes fans back into the world of the show, recreating the setting of Marzipan city as Lil Nas X/Chowder raps "Panini" to, well, the Chowder character of Panini because of course.

The video is such a perfect recreation of the Cartoon Network series, which had a short run and ended in 2010, and it's largely thanks to Emonee La Russa, the animator who made the music video happen. Emonee tweeted, "I OFFICIALLY DIRECTED AND ANIMATED A MUSIC VIDEO FOR @lilnasx 😭😭 they asked for Panini but Chowder!!! I grew up in love with this show!!! This is so unreal!!!! This was a beast to bust out and I wouldn’t have been able to do it without my awesome team!!! You guys are amazing!!"

Reactions to the new "Panini" x Chowder music video were various shades of elated, with fans loving the callbacks to the animated series embedded in the show. One of the best reactions comes from WNBA player A'ja Wilson, who reacted to the music video by telling Lil Nas X, "Chowder! You're the GOAT for this one."
