Lil Nas X Is a Hot Pink Dream at the Grammys 2020

Lil Nas X hit the red carpet at the [Grammys 2020](https://www.teenvogue.com/tag/grammys](https://www.teenvogue.com/gallery/grammys-2020-red-carpet-best-fashion) in a look that was sure to turn heads—and so it did. In head-to-toe hot pink (literally), the performer chose a western-inspired look that included not only a pair of pants and jacket, but also a mesh bodysuit, harness, matching cowboy hat, and printed silk scarves tied around each wrist. Lil Nas X has previously been at the event premiere ceremony in a white shirt, pants, and—yes—matching cowboy hat, but it was definitely a much more understated look than his latest.

His look for the 2020 Grammys was uniquely his own, and very telling of all the reasons we love him so. Not only was it unapologetically bold, but it was the ultimate representation of his hip-hop-meets-country vibe. He couldn’t have picked a look that did that more than he did, and we wholeheartedly applaud it.

He has already won a Grammy at the afternoon events, picking a golden statue up for his Old Town Road music video. He is set to perform that very song on tonight’s stage and we can’t wait to see if he pulls out a third eye-catching look for that as well.
