Clearing out his name. Lil Baby just responded to the viral video that’s circulating around social media that claims to be him.
On the weekend of October 20, 2023, a video of a man performing oral sex on another man became viral on X (formerly Twitter), according to TMZ. A caption of the video read “nah lil baby” in front of the explicit content which led many social media users to believe that it is the “Drip Too Hard” rapper.

This isn’t the first time that Lil Baby was embroiled in another social media rumor. Earlier in the month, Lil Baby became viral after getting shots off at a gun range and struggling with the recoil. “That recoil is cooking him.. he gotta stop rapping about guns,” one user wrote in response to Hot New Hip Hop’s tweet.
In a New York Times article, Lil Baby was asked if consciously strays away from social media fame. “Hell yeah. That ain’t me, though! To me, that’s gimmicks — clout,” the rapper said. “I ain’t for that. My following came from me, not like some old viral stuff. I don’t even know how to do that.”

He continued, “I just ain’t into it. I’m low-key bigger than the people who do that. One day maybe. Probably not, though. I don’t got a thrill for it. Fashion show in Paris, like … cool [shrugs]. I think I got that from prison. Like, just, you’re there, but you’re not there. It’s a mental thing: ‘I’m in here, and I just got to get through it.’ When I got out, it was the same thing. I’m just there, but I’m not there. Even for good stuff. It keeps me going.”
How did Lil Baby respond to the viral video?
Lil Baby took to his Instagram story to talk about the viral video. He wrote, “Y’all gotta stop using my name and likeness when y’all get bored , then the extremes mfs go to for clout is sick. Ain’t no mystery in my history on NO LEVEL. This is my last time addressing any kind of dumb ass click bait.” He also posted two bullet points: “no flaws” and “no cap in my rap”
Lil Baby’s last post on X (formerly Twitter) read, “Mfs gone do the worst when you don’t give them no attention!! I be already expecting that🤷🏽♂️😂”
