Even though I graduated college years ago, Fall still always has back-to-school shopping energy. Only now, instead of pencils, planners, and highlighters, I keep my eye out for wardrobe essentials that will carry me through the back half of the year and beyond. Suffice to say, Cuyana's new Easy Tote caught my eye this month.

I've long been a fan of Cuyana's handbags for their quality leather, simple, timeless design, and reasonable price point. The fact that Meghan Markle is a big supporter of the brand doesn't hurt either. So, honestly at first, I was a little nervous when I heard they were retiring their much-loved classic tote in favor of the new style. But now that I have hands on the product, I'm impressed. The leather is super soft, and the unstructured bag is slouchy in the best way possible, but still big enough to carry everything I need on-the-go, including a laptop. The one internal pocket is also perfect for holding a small wallet, keys, or a cell phone, and keeping those key items close at hand. (I enjoy how lightweight this bag is, but if you are in the market for a handbag that zips closed, keep in mind that this tote doesn't have any hardware at all. For that security, consider joining the waitlist for Cuyana's zippered style.)

Right now the Easy Tote comes in 8 colors and two sizes—classic (which I chose) and tall, and for the monogram lovers out there, it can be personalized. Plus, coming in at just under $250, it'd make a great gift for the women in your life this holiday season—whether they're fresh-faced college students, new moms, or a seasoned professional carrying their computers to and from the office in our new hybrid work reality.
