This Lighthouse Restaurant Literally Floats On The Water In The Maldives
It's not every day you can travel to the Maldives, so if you're visiting the tropical nation, making the most of the experience is a must. In my unbiased opinion, that starts with a belly full of delicious food and The Lighthouse Restaurant at Baros Resort is the spot you can't miss.
Obviously The Lighthouse Restaurant is as magical and beachy as it sounds. "Floating" perfectly above the water, guests will immediately feel as if they're eating on top of the lagoon (which they are, but with a floor beneath them). Tables light the deck so dining under the stars makes the experience all the more unforgettable.

The breathtaking views and experience have become "legendary" in the Maldives. Not to mention the fact that the fine dining menu includes local seafood (lobster, scallops, salmon, and cod) steaks, and modern classics with exotic flavors. Take your dining experience to the next level by allowing The Lighthouse's resident sommelier to suggest the perfect wine to pair with your entree.
Follow your main course with a Double Chocolate Espresso Truffle, a Hot Soufflé, Exotic Asian Fruits Flambé, Flourless Chocolate Fudge, or another one of the restaurant's special desserts and you're in for the night of your life.
Not quite ready to leave after that? I wouldn't blame you. Up on the rooftop you can chill at The Lighthouse Lounge where you can relax and sip on (more) wine and refreshing cocktails while listening to a live band play softly in the evenings.

Now seriously take a minute and really imagine it...dinner, wine, dessert, an unbeatable view, a tropical breeze, watching the sunset from the Lounge, and listening to a live band while sipping on a *insert booze of choice.* Tell me you've dined somewhere more romantic and I will 100 percent never believe you.
